About Us

Närhälsan Krokslätt Health Centre, Child Health Centre (BVC), and the Clinic for Young People's Mental Health are located in Mölndal, on the border of Gothenburg. We are approximately 35 employees responsible for around 9,500 registered patients. All employees have high competence, great commitment, and value cross-professional collaboration for the benefit of patients and the organization.

The health centre offers a comprehensive range of care including a doctor's clinic, nurse and district nurse clinics, as well as a laboratory and a drop-in clinic. The BVC offers child health services. The health centre also has the additional assignment of Young People's Mental Health, focusing on children and young people with mental ill health and support for their relatives. The work involves assessment, counseling, and treatment both individually and in groups.

The entire health centre works together to meet our patients' needs with high medical quality and good reception. In the same building as the health centre, there are also a Youth Clinic, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), Public Dental Care, and Maternity Clinic.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health centre span a broad field and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You work independently and with variety in clinic work. Supervision is provided by an experienced specialist who gives you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities. About You

You are a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care and potentially doing specialist training (ST) in general medicine. You possess language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We are looking for someone who is sensitive and has a good reception attitude because you meet many different patients at the health centre in your work. You work independently and are confident in making your own decisions, while contributing with commitment and initiative to the development of the organization. You thrive in teamwork and cooperate willingly with colleagues and partners to create a care environment characterized by quality, trust, and consideration.

The position is a temporary assignment of 6 months, with a possible opportunity for extension and specialist training (ST).

For those who have trained as a doctor abroad and have not done AT (Internship) in Sweden to obtain a medical license, the new regulations regarding Bastjänstgöring (Basic Service) from July 1, 2021, apply. Basic Service for doctors (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of specialist training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means you need to do BT before or as an introductory part of your ST.
