Distra Gymnasium is a high school located in Örnsberg.

According to the Swedish Schools Inspectorate's student surveys, we rank at the top in Stockholm regarding satisfied students and teachers.

At our school, the focus is on well-being and safety, where everyone feels seen and heard. We have small teaching groups of approximately 15–24 students. This allows us greater opportunities to help each student achieve their goals.

We are currently looking for teachers who can teach vocational subjects on the Sales Programme.

It is an advantage if you can teach any of the following subjects:

• Natural Science
• History
• Social Studies

The position is a permanent full-time employment. It is advantageous if you are a certified teacher. The school offers holiday service.

You should be curious and willing to meet students where they are in their development, as well as willing to create conditions for every student to succeed.

You should be accustomed to collaborating with others but, above all, able to drive your own ideas regarding teaching.

You should feel comfortable working with computers in teaching and be willing to propose ideas on how we can achieve our set goals using new technology and individual solutions.

In a vocational education, most of our students have applied based on a specific profession, and this is where your challenge lies: to dare to challenge students in your subjects so that they both develop an interest and understand why it is of utmost importance to pass your subjects. You must be able to see opportunities in every individual and want to find paths that suit even those who have given up on themselves.

Our students should feel safe and welcome in a creative, developmental learning environment.

If you also have experience working with students who have neuropsychiatric disabilities, this is an advantage.
