Department Description

The maintenance organization at Spendrups consists of approximately 80 employees distributed across five departments working on maintenance at our production facilities in Grängesberg and Hällefors. The department performs, on behalf of its customers, everything from emergency to preventive and planned maintenance, as well as driving projects and improvements.

Job Description

Below you will find examples of common tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Troubleshooting on both simple and high-tech machines
• Performing oil changes and various lubrication tasks
• Repairs and replacement of components
• Preventive maintenance of process equipment
• Reporting completed work in the maintenance system

You will also participate in our improvement and investment projects. Together with the production staff and the maintenance department, you will work based on the "continuous improvement" model, using established standards as support.

The work is carried out during day shifts, but weekend work may occur.

Requirements

• Upper secondary or vocational education in technology/mechanics
• You communicate fluently orally and in writing in English and Swedish, as contact with Swedish and foreign companies is common
• You are computer literate and have the ability to easily understand technical documentation
• Previous experience working with machine maintenance
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are service-oriented, structured, have good analytical skills, and are goal- and result-oriented. You are proactive and make decisions based on facts. You collaborate easily and initiate contact with colleagues in different departments. The ability to work in both small and large groups is a prerequisite for success in this role.
