To the Specialist Dental Care in Kalmar, we are currently looking for a dental hygienist assistant (tandsköterska) with an interest in periodontology. Your duties will involve assisting and working independently in the treatment room, working in the sterilization room, as well as administrative tasks with close contact with other departments at the Specialist Dental Care.

As a new employee, you will participate in a comprehensive induction program, which means that as a newly hired staff member, you will get a good insight into the operations and the opportunity to build a network with colleagues throughout the county. If you are a recent graduate, you will receive supervision to help you grow into your professional role. About you

We are looking for you who are trained as a dental assistant/hygienist (tandsköterska). You are confident, attentive, and accommodating in interactions with both patients and colleagues, and you have the interest, willingness, and ability to help. With your positive and service-oriented attitude, you contribute to a good work climate. You have a pedagogical approach and communication that you adapt based on people's different needs. When the workday changes rapidly, you are quick to see opportunities and you strive to find solutions. Good relationships are important to you, and you strive to create good collaborations. Your future workplace

The Specialist Dental Care in Kalmar consists of eight different dental specialties and a dental laboratory. The unit is located at Kalmar County Hospital, where approximately 75 employees work. On the periodontology department, there is one senior dentist, one specialist-in-training dentist, two dental hygienists, and three dental assistants. The position involves, in addition to patient care in the treatment room, also surgical dental care. On the operating department, we collaborate with other surgical departments such as oral and maxillofacial surgery and endodontics.
