Magelungen Utveckling is an employee-owned limited company offering qualified treatment and change work for children, young people, young adults, and their families. Magelungen operates treatment facilities and resource schools at the primary and upper secondary levels. The goal is to create a manageable, meaningful, and understandable context in all activities. Research and evaluation are integrated parts of all operations.

We are now looking for a certified teacher to strengthen the teaching staff at the lower secondary level (grades 7-9) with qualifications in Social Studies (SO) and Natural Sciences (NO), and preferably another subject. Your work may involve working individually with a student inside and outside of school, teaching classes both individually and in a two-teacher model. The role also includes extended mentoring for approximately 6 students. It is an advantage if you have knowledge, experience, and education in special needs pedagogy. All our students carry a school trauma from their previous schooling, making it crucial that you are experienced in working with students who face difficulties, whether academic and/or social. Since the challenges our students face can change over time, it is important that you are flexible and able to adapt to their conditions.

• Good communicator – we communicate extensively with students and their families, as well as with external parties when necessary.

• A warm interest in youth "outside the mainstream".
• A strong team player – success requires collaboration. You will work closely with student health staff, therapists, teachers, and management.
• A balance of seriousness, commitment, and humor.
• Relational competence with the ability to lift students both academically and in terms of self-esteem.
• Interested in contributing to the development of thematic work.
• Experience working with Google Classroom, Google Meet, and SchoolSoft.

The size of the position varies based on the subjects you are certified in. Minimum 50 %.
