Adolf Fredrik's Music Classes is a school for grades 4–9 with approximately 1,100 students located on Norrmalm. The profile is choral singing, and our students are, in addition to being musical, also engaged, ambitious, and achieve good results.

We offer

  • Teaching in French, a substitute position during the school year 2026/2027. The teaching is scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Your role

We are looking for an engaged French teacher who wants to help drive the school forward. You will teach French in grades 6–9.

You will be part of a work team and a subject department where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge. You will also serve as a mentor for a middle school class together with another colleague.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who have high expectations for students' goal achievement, good pedagogical insight, and are clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:

  • are a certified teacher with eligibility in the subject of French.
  • have experience working with French teaching.
  • have experience with digital methods as an enhancement in teaching.
  • are proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing.

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and structure and adapt your teaching to create a safe and adequate learning environment. You involve the student in the planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.

You are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other duties included in your role in an effective manner.
