Job Description

We are looking for operators for a sawmill in Säter. The role of an operator involves monitoring and controlling machines along the production line at the sawmill. This is an automated environment where your task is to ensure smooth workflow, handle any potential downtime, and perform quality checks on the timber products. We are looking for someone who is hands-on and has an interest in industrial production.

Scope: Full-time, day shift

Employment Type: Consultant assignment via Randstad with a chance of permanent employment with the client.

Start Date: Immediately (holiday period w29-30).

As the position needs to be filled immediately, selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and controlling machines and production lines.
• Quality control and sorting of timber materials.
• Ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and simple mechanical adjustments.
• Daily collaboration with colleagues to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and enjoys physical work. As a person, you are a team player who takes initiative and adapts easily to changing circumstances in production.

• Good knowledge of Swedish.
• Category B driver's license and access to a car.

Merits: Forklift license (especially counterbalance forklift) and crane/traverse license.
