Welcome to us
Develop our upper secondary level with us! We are looking for an experienced art teacher who wants to be an important part of our development as we expand our operations with an additional grade level in the upper secondary school.
Do you want to come to a workplace with wonderful colleagues? At Skanskvarnsskolan, both students and staff thrive, which is evident in the students' responses regarding safety and well-being, as well as in employee surveys. We have a stable, competent, and dedicated staff group and a fantastic student health team.
The school is currently a grades F-8 school with approximately 650 students and 100 employees. By the start of the autumn term, we will be a fully expanded grades F-9 school, which also includes a special needs primary school under construction.
Skanskvarnsskolan offers a good working environment in beautiful newly renovated premises, as well as in completely new buildings for school and leisure center, sports, kitchen, and school restaurant. Skanskvarnsskolan is located in a picturesque setting by Årstaviken and is close to public transport at Gullmarsplan.
The school's vision underpins all operations: "A school that holds together - for the student's best every day".
We offer
We offer you a nice working environment where we care that you, as an employee, will thrive and where we do the little extra for our staff.

You are part of a work team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge.
As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.
You are a mentor for a group of students and are responsible for following up on absences and being the contact person for the students' guardians.
Your qualifications and experience

You are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other duties included in your role in an effective manner.
