About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Sandared's rehabilitation clinic.

At Närhälsan's rehabilitation clinic in Sandared, four dedicated employees work: three physiotherapists and one occupational therapist. We now wish to expand the team with an additional occupational therapist. We have a close collaboration with the Sandared Health Centre, with whom we also share premises. We have developed several joint patient flows and new forms of cooperation between the health centre and the rehabilitation clinic. Further collaborations are under development with the aim of meeting our patients' needs in the best possible way. Sandared's rehabilitation clinic operates within the framework of Vårdval Rehab.

About the Job

Your tasks involve assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions among patients you meet as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurological issues, cognitive impairment, and mental health issues. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, you develop a personal plan and goals for rehabilitation.

The work is based at the clinic, through physical or digital visits, as well as home visits. Some work can be performed remotely. Patient treatment takes place both individually and in groups.

The work involves close collaboration with other professions, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the business in a continuous improvement process aimed at following general developments within healthcare and staying at the forefront by daring to try new working methods. Vårdval Rehab is an exciting business that is undergoing change and offers opportunities for positive and creative patient meetings with work arrangements that suit the patient, the business, and you as an employee.

The position will be located at the Sandared rehabilitation clinic. Through our close collaboration with other clinics in the Närhälsan area R7 Södra Älvsborg, there is an opportunity to support other clinics if needed. We plan a good introduction that feels secure for you. Within the business, we work with introduction programs and mentorship.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist. If you have previous experience in the profession and primary care, it is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. If you have supervisor training and/or further/upgrading education, this is also an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is receptive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. You can plan your work in an effective and organized manner based on the business's goals and the framework of Vårdval Rehab, and you thrive with variety in work. Since the workload is varied and unexpected events may occur, we see that you are flexible, independent, and solution-focused. For you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other partners and actively drive development and innovation within the business.

Travel during work occurs. A Category B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates to a telephone interview. The recruiting manager then makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
