Land Workshop Stockholm is a department within the Army Staff with 93 employees. We perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' land equipment and deliver technical system support. This means maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scraping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspection.

You will belong to Land Workshop Stockholm, which has operations in both Berga, Kungsängen, and Falun, with this position located in Berga. You will become part of a team of weapons technicians who work together and support each other. Everyone is equally important, and the work environment encourages collaboration where one supports and shares knowledge with each other.

Responsibilities

As a weapons technician, you will primarily work with preventive and corrective maintenance/repairs of weapons and optics.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Two- or three-year technical upper secondary education or equivalent as assessed by the employer.
• Category B driver's license.
• General computer skills.

Merits

• Experience with maintenance of weapons, optics, or fine mechanics.
• Relevant experience working as a technician or mechanic in a similar field.
• Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces and its procedures is desirable.
• Experience and knowledge of workshop operations and equipment maintenance in the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Forklift license.
• Computer skills in LIFT/PRIO.
