We are now looking for seamstresses/seamsters for NHC in Upplands Väsby!

NHC is a leading player in technical textiles with operations throughout Europe and customers across large parts of the world. The company develops and manufactures among other things tarps, tents, halls, canopies, and custom solutions for customers with high demands on quality, function, and sustainability. For NHC, we are now looking for seamstresses/seamsters for the operations in Upplands Väsby.

About the position

In this role, you will become an important part of the production where the focus is on quality, efficiency, and collaboration. The work involves sewing and assembly of products within technical textiles, primarily for the defense industry. You will work from drawings and instructions at your own workstation where materials and components are prepared for each step.

The products vary in size and complexity, creating a varied workday with both smaller and larger projects. The work requires precision, responsibility, and the ability to work at a high pace without compromising on quality.

Previous experience in sewing or work in manufacturing industry is meritorious but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the right attitude, practical skills, and the willingness to learn. Training takes place internally where you are gradually introduced to the work and the company's products.

The position begins with employment via Uniflex during the first three months. Provided that the collaboration works well, there are good opportunities for continued employment and takeover by NHC.

Working hours:

• Day shift: 07.00–16.00
• Evening shift: 16.00–00.55, Monday–Thursday

You are flexible, engaged, and have the desire to develop together with the company. Since the work involves following instructions and job descriptions, it is important that you master Swedish or English in speech and writing.
