About the role

As an Automation Technician, you will work closely with both automation engineers and designers on projects involving the development and construction of internal automated production solutions. The work is varied and involves both practical construction and problem-solving.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Building and assembling automation solutions based on drawings
• Working with both mechanics and electrical/automation systems
• Participating in project meetings and regular check-ins
• Troubleshooting and optimizing existing automation solutions
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in design and programming

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who enjoys practical work. You may have a background as a mechanic with an interest in electrical and automation systems, or a more specialized automation background.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in mechanical work and reading technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems or PLCs
• Technical education or equivalent work experience
• Good proficiency in Swedish

Experience with the following is considered a plus:

• PLC systems (e.g., Omron)
• Robotics or automation
• Turning or similar workshop work
