Are you a nurse or urotherapist with an interest in urological care and urotherapy? As a nurse at our clinic, you are offered a varied, independent, and stimulating job with good opportunities for development within the field. At the surgical/urological clinic, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together. The work at the clinic is carried out in teams around the various diagnoses to provide patients with the best possible care.

As a nurse, you run your own nurse-led clinic, which includes more advanced catheter changes, RIK training (Renal Intermittent Catheterization), various bladder treatments, and care for patients with erectile dysfunction. You will also have your own LUTS (Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms) clinic, where patients come for mapping and investigation of voiding problems, bladder implants, etc.

You provide telephone advice to patients but also give advice to healthcare staff. A large part of the work at the urology clinic is to function as a key nurse and/or urotherapist (depending on educational level) for patients with various urological cancer diagnoses, etc. This is a developing and independent job. The key nurses support patients during the investigation and treatment of cancer diagnoses and later in the prostate cancer dispensary. If you have education in urotherapy, you will also function as a consultant across the hospital.

We also help our patients with the trial and prescription of incontinence products, covering both urinary and fecal incontinence.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. The work is independent and requires broad professional experience. Experience from urology, prescription rights, and the course in urological nursing (15 credits) are meritorious. You should also have an interest in urotherapy and be willing to undergo training to become a urotherapist. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
