Habilitering is specialized healthcare for children and young people with autism, intellectual disabilities, mobility impairments, or acquired brain injuries. We provide health-promoting and treatment interventions based on each individual's unique needs and conditions, and possess specialist knowledge of how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development.

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for a permanent position at 100%. Please submit your application!

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include mapping activity capacity and activity level, as well as treating and teaching strategies to facilitate daily life. You will trial, prescribe, and follow up on individually adapted assistive devices. Providing information, supervision, and consultation to patients, relatives, and staff, as well as collaborating with other healthcare providers and authorities, is also part of the role.

The work takes place in Habilitering's premises and in the patient's immediate environment based on needs. All interventions are planned together with the patient and take place both in groups and individually.

You are offered an introduction period, good opportunities for collegial supervision by an appointed mentor, and regular professional meetings.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed occupational therapist. Experience working with children and young people with disabilities is advantageous. Collaboration skills, flexibility, and a good approach to people are essential for us, so personal suitability is given great weight.

The position involves travel, so a B-driver's license is required.
