The Husby preschool area consists of 4 preschools. In each work team, there is at least one preschool teacher and one to two preschool assistants. Within the area, there is a special needs educator, a principal, and two deputy principals who are the direct managers for two preschools each.

Your role

The education in preschool should lay the foundation for lifelong learning. It should be fun, secure, and educational for all children. The education should be based on a holistic view of children and their needs, where care, development, and learning form a whole. In cooperation with families, the preschool should promote children's development into active, creative, competent, and responsible people and members of society.

>Holding the position of preschool teacher within the preschool operations at the Järva District Administration means that you work based on current legislation as well as municipal and national steering documents. The assignment involves you mainly working with:

• Leading and being responsible for the teaching in such a way that the goals and intentions of the curriculum are met.
• Taking responsibility for the pedagogical content of the teaching that the work team carries out together.
• Taking responsibility for stimulating, challenging, following up, evaluating, and analyzing the child's development and learning.
• Implementing education based on the responsibility expressed in the curriculum.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who are:

• A licensed preschool teacher.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Good knowledge of the Office package.

We see that you have an idea of how you, together with your colleagues, should realize the goals and values of the curriculum. We see that your child focus is clear and is reflected in your approach in everyday life.

You also have knowledge of how you make visible and further develop children's learning processes with the help of pedagogical documentation. You have a strong drive to keep the development of the pedagogical environment alive.

The position involves putting the city's personnel policy into practice with a special focus on:

• A holistic view with the residents' best interests in mind.
• Working independently and taking responsibility for your entire assignment; you have check-ins with your manager to the extent agreed upon.
• Taking initiative to develop the areas included in your assignment.
• Being part of your colleagues' work environment and expected to contribute to a good work environment.
• Cooperating and actively and constructively participating in processes for planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of the operations.
