Job Description
About the Role

As an IT Technician within IAM, you are responsible for the operation, administration, and development of solutions for identity and access management. The role involves close collaboration with other IT teams and security functions to ensure compliance with internal and external security requirements.

You will also work with automation, database management, and troubleshooting in complex IT environments.

Responsibilities

Identity and Access Management

• Manage and maintain identity databases and IAM solutions
• Ensure correct handling of users, roles, and permissions
• Implement and maintain access controls and security routines
• Collaborate with other IT teams for integration between IAM and other systems
• Work with automated processes for identity and permission management

Databases and Data Management

• Perform checks and maintenance of SQL databases
• Write and optimize SQL queries and procedures
• Extract and analyze data related to identities and permissions

Tools and Platforms

• Work in tools such as IdMan and Microsoft Identity Manager
• Document solutions, processes, and technical instructions
• Contribute to the improvement and further development of IAM processes

Security and Compliance

• Ensure that IAM processes follow current security requirements and regulations
• Conduct security audits and risk assessments
• Work according to standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST
• Collaborate with security functions in incident handling and security-related issues

Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide technical support within IAM-related questions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to identity and access management

We are looking for someone who has

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working within Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Experience with SQL databases and SQL query language
• Experience with tools such as IdMan and Microsoft Identity Manager
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
• Experience with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST
• Good communication skills in speech and writing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation within IAM
• Experience working in large or complex IT environments
• Experience with security work and compliance issues
