About the position

We are now looking for a nurse to join our Orthopedic Center. Here, you will be part of an experienced and development-oriented work group where structure, competence, and the courage to try new things are central values.

Initially, the position starts in inpatient care. Over the years, your responsibilities are expected to change with the addition of new roles based on your level of competence. In inpatient care, we work in teams around the patient with the goal of providing the best orthopedic care, while a broad mindset is important as patients often have multiple different conditions.

Professional knowledge is crucial for the quality of care. For this reason, you have time allocated in your schedule every week for professional development.

About us

The Orthopedic Center belongs to the Surgical, Orthopedic, and ENT area and consists of the orthopedic ward, the orthopedic clinic, and the osteoporosis clinic. At the Orthopedic Center, we have an integrated operation between inpatient and outpatient care, where, with growing clinical competence, you may become eligible for new generalized or specialized roles within both inpatient and outpatient care.

Our duties include:

• Acute orthopedics
• Acute orthogeriatrics
• Elective orthopedics
• Orthopedic outpatient care
• Pediatric orthopedics in outpatient care
• Osteoporosis care
• Educational care department where we conduct final examinations of approximately 50 nursing students per semester.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a Swedish nursing license. Previous experience in orthopedic care is meritorious. We place great importance on personal suitability, such as good teamwork skills, a welcoming attitude, and a positive view of change and workplace development. We also value that you have a pedagogical approach and the ability to work independently.
