Sjölins Gymnasium has been educating students through case methodology since 2000, and today we have approximately 230 employees and 3,000 students across our five high schools.

About Sjölins Gymnasium Vasastan

Sjölins Gymnasium Vasastan was established in 2017 and offers three university-preparatory programs: the Social Sciences Program, the Natural Sciences Program, and the Economics Program. We are an independent school centrally located on Karlbergsvägen in Vasastan, currently hosting 816 students and 45 employees. The school is organized as Campus Vasastan together with two other schools.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are trained as a special needs teacher (specialpedagog) with previous experience working in the later years of compulsory school or in upper secondary school. The position entails overall responsibility for the school's work with special support. This means direct work with students with various support needs, as well as work on promoting and preventive measures related to the area. The role also includes coordinating the entire school health team (EHT), which currently consists of the school nurse, counselor, and school psychologist (SYV).

You will lead EHT meetings, class conferences, and meet with work teams and individual teachers in daily school life. You will work systematically with the school's quality improvement efforts in close collaboration with the school management. You will identify development areas at the school based on evaluations and surveys and actively participate in improvement work. Leadership responsibilities may also be included in the position, making you part of our school management group.

Start date and employment type:

• The position is a permanent employment with a start date of August 10, 2026, or as agreed.
• The position is a holiday cover position on a full-time basis (100%), with a 6-month probation period.
