Are you a certified audiologist with a talent for building strong relationships? We are now looking for an audiologist for our clinic in Halmstad.

Your role with us

The adult team works with hearing rehabilitation for patients with severe hearing loss, severe tinnitus, working professionals, and sudden hearing loss. You will primarily work individually, but team visits in collaboration with other professions do occur. Group activities are common. Based on your experience and competence, the focus will primarily be on seeing patients with severe hearing loss, as this is our largest target group. The position requires the ability to work independently, a high degree of flexibility in teamwork, and pedagogical skills. The organization's strategy is based on LEAN, and we actively work for continuous improvements and to develop our working methods.

As an audiologist with us, your work may involve:

• Assessing the patient's need for interventions
• Diagnosis
• Rehabilitation plans
• Technical rehabilitation
• Follow-up of patients according to the care pathway for adults with severe hearing loss
• Support for relatives and networks
• Group activities
• Collaboration with, among others, the CI team, Syncentralen, Hearing Clinic, ENT Clinic, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and Halland municipalities

About the workplace

Hearing habilitation is a county-wide specialist service that works with habilitation and rehabilitation for people with hearing loss of all ages.

We have two clinics, one in Halmstad and one in Kungsbacka. In each location, a children's team and an adult team work. The teams currently consist of special education teachers, counselors, audiologists, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, sign language teachers, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries.

Currently, four audiologists work in Halmstad, two of whom focus primarily on adults and two more on children. Your organizational placement will be in the adult team. All new employees are offered an introduction and support from an experienced colleague. You will have the opportunity to develop together with competent colleagues throughout Halland in interesting and varied work. It is easy to feel at home with us!

The position is a fixed-term employment at 100%, for 6 months, with the workplace in Halmstad.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an audiologist and have a strong rehabilitative focus with the ability to see the big picture and provide person-centered care.

As a person, you are flexible, take initiative, and can work both independently and in a group. You are professional in your practice and are interested and curious about learning and thinking new things. Working in a team is something you appreciate, and you have good communication skills. You also have good digital skills and want to be part of creating the digital healthcare of the future. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
