Do you want to make a difference in the daily lives of people with dementia? Working in elder care in Dorotea Municipality gives you the opportunity to work in a business where care, development, and community are at the center. Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant or care aide, you play a crucial role in supporting and helping our elderly. Your duties include, among other things:

• Providing support and care to elderly people with dementia, both physically and emotionally.
• Planning and conducting activities that stimulate memory and maintain social connections.
• Working in close collaboration with other staff.
• Documenting and following up on needs and changes in users' health status.
• Contributing to the development of the operations.

You work in an environment where engagement and collaboration are in focus, where every employee contributes to meeting the needs and wishes of our residents.

Qualifications

We place great importance on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and has a good understanding of the care recipients' life situation. As a person, you have a good ability to:

• Show empathy and patience.
• Create meaningful relationships and build trust.
• Communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Be flexible to contribute to a stimulating environment for our residents.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Education in care and assistance, e.g., nursing assistant, care aide, or other equivalent experience.
• Experience working with elderly people, especially those with dementia diagnoses.
• Sami language skills.

Conditions

• Working hours: day/evening
• We offer a wellness hour.
• Temporary position until April 2027
