Welcome to Närhälsan Heimdal Health Centre – a workplace where we not only make a difference for our patients, but also for each other! We are now looking for you who are a nurse, preferably with competence in asthma/COPD, and who want to help develop the primary care of the future together with us.
Here we work closely together in a secure, supportive team of approximately 30 colleagues – district doctors/ST doctors/AT doctors, nurses, district nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, psychologists, child health centre nurses – all with big hearts and dedication. We have just over 9,000 registered patients of various ages and work actively to meet their needs in the best possible way.

About the Job
Your duties at the health centre cover a broad field and include the area of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.
The work takes place through both emergency and planned operations. You work largely independently with your own clinic for diabetes patients and for asthma/COPD patients, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and cross-professionally in the team, as well as with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialist care. Together with the health centre management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Training future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.
About You
For this recruitment, we are looking for two nurses with post-graduate education: one for diabetes patients and one for asthma/COPD patients. You are a registered nurse and have post-graduate education in diabetes of at least 15 higher education credits, or alternatively have post-graduate education in asthma/COPD of at least 15 higher education credits. It is meritorious with previous experience from working as a diabetes nurse or asthma/COPD nurse, and/or from work in primary care.
We are looking for you who take initiative in your work and are confident in making your own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, sensitive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive with teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well both orally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We would like you to have an interest in digitalization and business development.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters on the HR department who call current candidates for a telephone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
