About the Role

Maintenance and service work is carried out on rail-bound work machines at the depot in Åmål, and we are now looking for a mechanic with knowledge of electricity or automation. As a mechanic, you will have a varied role, working on everything from simple troubleshooting and service work within electricity and mechanics to vehicle modifications. In this position, you will also perform self-inspections and report deviations such as missed deliveries, risk observations, or operational disruptions.

The work is varied and involves both independent tasks and collaboration with colleagues. You work closely with experienced colleagues in an environment where safety and precision are crucial.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with knowledge within electricity or automation. You have good mechanical skills and find it easy to read and interpret documentation and regulations. To succeed in the role, you are unpretentious, have good problem-solving skills, and a strong safety mindset. You are aware that good communication is crucial for creating a functional collaboration, as this position involves both individual work and group work. Regardless of previous experience in the electrical field, we are looking for you who are curious and ready to take on new challenges with an open and humble approach.

The position requires good Swedish skills, both spoken and written, as well as a Category B driver's license.

Scope: Full-time

Start date: According to agreement

Working hours: 07:00 – 15:30 with flexibility options.

Type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probation period
