About Us

In home care, you help people live independently and safely in their own homes. The tasks vary, and the work offers many wonderful meetings and meaningful moments.

You will be employed through our central staffing unit and work primarily on weekends within home care during the summer. This position suits you who want to combine an important and rewarding job with days off during the week.

This is a job for you who likes helping others, taking responsibility, and being part of a team where we support each other and have fun together.

We would appreciate it if you could work recurring weekends during the period June–August, as continuity and security are important both for our care recipients and our work groups.

Your Role

• Provide support and assistance based on the care recipient's individual needs and our clear work routines
• Help with daily chores and personal care
• Create wonderful meetings and contribute to security and quality of life during the weekends
• Document your work to ensure good quality in the operations

To ensure you feel secure in your role, you will receive an introduction and delegation training adapted to your experience and knowledge level.

Who are you?

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or turning 18 before summer.
• Speak and write Swedish, at least at a basic level.
• Have a driver's license.
• Have good availability during the summer that matches our operations' needs.
• As an employee in Lilla Edet Municipality, you have good digital skills and use digital tools in a safe and flexible way in everyday life.

Merits:

• Are educated, or are currently studying for a healthcare profession such as doctor, nurse, or assistant nurse.
• Have worked in one of our operations or in healthcare and care previously.

We offer:

• Full-time or part-time based on operational needs & your wishes,
• Monthly employment or hourly employment during the summer period,

Our recruitment process:

• Continuous selection
  Selection takes place continuously during the application period. This means the position can be filled before the last application date.
• Digital language test
  Selected candidates take a digital language test. A passing grade is required to proceed in the process.
• Interview
  Candidates are invited to an interview, where we delve deeper into experiences, competence, and personal suitability.
• Reference checks
  References are taken from final candidates to confirm previous experiences and work methods.
• Criminal Record Check
  A satisfactory extract from the police's criminal record must be presented before an employment offer is made.
• Employment
  After the process is completed and a decision is made, employment is offered.
