Job Description
As a Software Engineer within Radio, you will work on the development of digital radio solutions for secure and robust communication. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software for radio systems
- Working with modern protocols and technologies such as SIP and 3GPP
- Being involved in the entire development chain – from architecture to deployment
- Collaborating in agile teams
- Building scalable, robust, and business-critical systems
The role involves working in a technically advanced environment where your solutions contribute to socially critical functions – such as emergency services, police, and transport.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. You have further 7+ years of experience working with C#.NET Core programming as well as extensive experience working with digital radio systems. It is also a requirement that you have:
- Experience with multi-threaded applications
- Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git)
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience with CI/CD (e.g., TeamCity)
- Good communication skills
It is meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of SIP/RTP
- Experience with Linux, Docker, SQL, or Wireshark
As a person, you are curious, analytical, and team-oriented. You are driven by working in a technical and problem-solving environment.
