About the Role

The dispatch center works with assessment and prioritization of healthcare cases via 112, as well as rest and resource coordination for lying patient transport and ambulance helicopters. Our mission is to ensure that the patient receives the right care at the right level with the right resource at the right time, for example, through ambulance, ambulance helicopter, lying patient transport, or referral for sitting patient travel.

We work in a team-based manner, including triaging incoming 112 calls, where we follow up on patients while waiting for resources (ambulance, mobile primary care teams, etc.). We also coordinate ambulances, helicopters, and lying patient transport to assign appropriate prehospital resources.

The operation runs 24/7, and for this position, we are looking for a registered nurse with shifts covering days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed registered nurse with three years of work experience as a nurse. As a person, we are looking for you who are structured, clear, stress-resistant, have good multitasking abilities, as well as teamwork skills, good communication skills, and a good attitude towards other people. You also speak Swedish in both speech and writing and have good knowledge of English. If you have other language skills, this is considered an advantage.

It is important that you are accustomed to working with technical aids such as IT and telephony, as you will be working in an advanced high-tech environment. It is an advantage if you have experience with CoordCom, Alitis, SAFE, or other dispatch center systems. Furthermore, previous experience in prehospital care and computer skills in the office package are considered advantageous. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

A prerequisite for employment with us is that you are a Swedish citizen and that you undergo a security interview, as the position may be security-classified. The working hours vary between days, evenings, and weekends.
