JENSEN Komvux is looking for an engaged teacher in healthcare and social care. This role is for you who want to develop in your professional capacity and contribute to our students' success. As a teacher at JENSEN Komvux, you will have the opportunity to, together with engaged colleagues and supportive management, develop and apply the possibilities of adult education. You have great freedom to design your teaching in a way that challenges and develops your course participants.

Responsibilities and Duties

• If you are a qualified teacher, you have the opportunity to take full responsibility for teaching our students who study online or in classrooms within your subject combination.
• Motivate and coach each student to achieve good study results and positive knowledge development according to national guidelines.
• Have the ability to handle groups with large differences in prior knowledge and individualize the course setup for each participant.
• Handle course administration based on established routines (e.g., grading, feedback to students, introduction, exams, etc.).
• Actively contribute to the development of the business area/unit and take responsibility for the operations meeting its goals.

Teaching will take place both in classrooms and online.

Qualifications

We require that you have a teaching license and are qualified to teach in the relevant subject. It is an advantage if you are qualified to teach Swedish as a second language or within the Child and Youth program.

You are experienced in working with students with different levels of prior knowledge and have the ability to help each one reach their set goals. You can adapt your communication to each individual and have experience conducting courses with different study paces.

You have a high level of commitment and drive. You teach in an inspiring way, engage with course participants and their goals, and have a coaching approach. As a person, you are creative and open to new ideas and feedback. You are receptive, stress-resistant, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Since we have a clear health profile, you are likely on the same track.

Employment Type

This is a fixed-term position. The extent of employment may vary depending on the subject combination.
