Are you looking for a summer job where you can take responsibility, work in service – and ensure the waffles turn out crispy? We are now looking for you who want to run the summer café at Forngården in central Vetlanda.

Vetlanda Municipality operates the summer café in the local history park Forngården, where you, together with employed staff and holiday interns, are responsible for the daily operations. The tasks vary – everything from grilling waffles and welcoming guests to cleaning, ordering supplies, and managing inventory.

You are present in the operations, have an eye for what needs to be done, and ensure the work flows smoothly even during busier periods. You have a positive attitude, enjoy collaborating, and are confident in taking responsibility and delegating tasks.

During weeks 26–33, work is scheduled for afternoons and evenings on weekdays, from 13:00 to approximately 20:00, and during the day on weekends, from 10:00 to approximately 18:00. In weeks 25 and 34, you will work from 08:00 to 17:00.

The employment period is from June 15 to August 19. Some preparation may also be required before June 15.

Qualifications

• Experience in service work, catering, or similar is an advantage.
• A driver's license and access to a car are required.
• We place importance on personal qualities.

Employment type: Permanent position (fixed-term summer contract).
Duration: 11 days – 3 months.
Working hours: Daytime, evenings, weekends.
