About the Position

Stuveryd is a residential care facility (HVB) with ten places for boys and girls aged 7–12. We receive traumatized children with attachment issues and neuropsychiatric conditions. With 20 years of experience working with children, we offer a safe, pleasant, and predictable environment where the children's needs are always at the center.

Our work is based on trauma-informed care, low-affective response, and clarifying pedagogy. These approaches create stability, clarity, and security in everyday life – for both the children and the staff.

The position of Cook involves being responsible for the kitchen, preparing nutritious and delicious breakfasts and meals for the clients at Stuveryd. The position is a summer temporary assignment between weeks 29 and 31, with a part-time employment of 62.5%. Working hours are between 10:00 – 15:00, Monday to Friday.

Your main responsibilities:

• Preparation and cooking of meals
• Kitchen work and cleaning to maintain order and comfort in the kitchen/dining area
• Contribute to a healthy attitude towards food for children and young people.

Qualifications

You are responsible and service-oriented, enjoy working independently, and have a genuine interest in cooking and kitchen work. As a person, you are positive, flexible, and like contributing to a healthy environment for children and young people.

All companies in the Novelia Group are members of Almega/Healthcare Employers and have a collective agreement according to Sector E. For this role, the collective agreement between Almega/Healthcare Employers and Kommunal applies.

Salary setting is differentiated and individual according to agreement. For this position, Novelia applies intermittent employment or temporary contracts.
