The Kitchen Unit in Mullsjö Municipality offers proximity to both colleagues and the residents we serve. The Kitchen Unit in Mullsjö Municipality is responsible for meal services in the municipality's preschools, schools, and elderly care. Every day, we serve home-cooked meals to our nursing homes, home care services, restaurant visitors, schools, and preschools. The Kitchen Unit aims to provide children, young people, and our elderly residents with a good dining experience and inspire them to try new flavors and dishes.

Job Responsibilities

As a casual staff member in the Kitchen Unit, you replace permanent staff during absences. Your working hours may vary according to operational needs and are often determined with short notice. Since the workplace and tasks are varied, it is important that you are flexible and enjoy seeing and learning new ways of working. As a casual staff member in the Kitchen Unit, you will primarily work with food and salad preparation, picking supplies, dishwashing, cleaning, and food transport.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have previous experience working as a cook or kitchen assistant in a large kitchen. It is an advantage if you have education from the upper secondary school's hotel and restaurant program or equivalent vocational training.

You have a clear guest and customer focus and enjoy working in a team and collaborating easily. Furthermore, you have personal maturity and are flexible, which allows you to adapt easily to current circumstances. You are service-oriented and appreciate varied work where you can prioritize your tasks, even in stressful situations. We are looking for you who are quality-conscious, enjoy working independently, and have no problem taking initiative.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
