Hooks Herrgård is a unique destination, located just 20 minutes south of Jönköping. Our kitchen team currently consists of approximately 20 dedicated employees led by Gregory Gosse, Food & Beverage Manager. At Hooks Herrgård, we work with great care for the ingredients and focus on seasonal adaptability.
About the RoleAs a Sous Chef, you play a vital role in daily operations and work closely with other sous chefs and our F&B team. Together, you lead a kitchen team of approximately 20 employees, focusing on quality, collaboration, and top-tier dining experiences.
The work primarily involves evenings and shifts every other weekend, making this role perfect for you if you thrive when the restaurant is at its liveliest.
Your main responsibilities:
- Work operationally in the kitchen and actively participate in cooking during service
- Lead and distribute tasks during service
- Ensure quality, structure, and efficiency in daily operations
- Contribute to menu development and concept work
- Collaborate with other sous chefs and F&B to develop the kitchen's working methods

We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant education and experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Experience with both traditional Swedish cuisine (husmanskost) and à la carte
- A passion for food, ingredients, and gastronomy
- Is a confident leader who creates engagement and job satisfaction
- Knowledge of HACCP and self-control procedures
- Valid driver's license and access to a car

About the EmploymentPermanent position with an initial probationary period.
Working hours: Evenings and every other weekend.
