In addition to the à la carte brasserie, Madame offers a café with its own bakery, lunch service, intermission catering for performances, an event dining hall, conferences, and events. The building houses a theater lounge, a live stage for concerts and events, a cinema with three screens, the new city library, Campus Värnamo with several hundred students in various programs and courses, as well as a diverse range of companies.

Madame is looking for an Event Maître d'Hôtel with a passion for service, leadership, and hospitality

Madame is now looking for a Maître d'Hôtel responsible for our party and event operations.

Your role:

As the Event Maître d'Hôtel at Madame, you are responsible for leading and developing the dining room operations in our event floor as well as during events at Gummifabriken. The role involves operational leadership where you ensure that every guest experience meets the highest standards, whether it concerns a party, conference, performance, or other arrangement.

In addition to the party and event operations, you will also become part of the daily operations in our brasserie, where the work is combined with à la carte service. This role offers a varied daily routine where no two days are alike.

Here you will have the opportunity to lead people, develop working methods, and contribute to creating a service experience that guests remember long after their visit.

You will:

Be responsible for the operational execution at events and arrangements, ensuring that the business is carried out with high quality and professionalism. You will lead the serving team on-site and create structure, clarity, and energy in the work.

The role includes responsibility for the dining room operations on the event floor, the event bar, intermission catering, and service of performance menus. Through present leadership, you ensure that guests, colleagues, and partners receive a professional and positive experience.

You will actively work to develop the team, create good routines, and ensure that the business maintains the standard expected by Madame and the Palmgren Group.

A confident and stable person with natural leadership skills and a strong sense of service. Creating a pleasant atmosphere, quality, and good experiences for guests and colleagues comes naturally to you.

Structure, attention to detail, and responsibility are clear parts of your working style. At the same time, you thrive in a business where the pace is sometimes high and conditions can change quickly.

We believe you have experience from the restaurant or event industry, preferably from a leading role where you have worked with personnel, service, and operations. Knowledge of food and beverage is meritorious, as is experience from bar operations or relevant beverage training.

Above all, we are looking for a person who loves the service profession and has genuine hospitality in everything you do.
