Rasta Klevshult is a facility belonging to the well-known Rasta chain, which has 30 meeting places across Sweden where we operate restaurants, shops, and hotels. At Rasta Klevshult, we offer a restaurant focusing on traditional Swedish home cooking, a hotel, and a well-stocked travel store operating under the OKQ8 brand.

Job Description

We are looking for a stress-resistant and engaged chef who can contribute to making our operations at Rasta a success during the summer season. Together with the rest of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our visitors have a flavorful and memorable experience through high-quality meals and excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals with high quality and precision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment for efficient and safe cooking.
• Prepare and cook high-quality meals.
• Work together with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient lunch and dinner service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience from a professional kitchen – Previous work as a chef, preferably within traditional Swedish cuisine.
• Stress-resistant and efficient – Accustomed to handling high tempo and working under time pressure.
• Knowledge of food handling and hygiene – Good understanding of safe cooking practices and HACCP routines.
• Self-motivated and responsible – Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your area of work.
• Good knowledge of kitchen economics – Understanding of raw material costs, waste management, and efficient kitchen operations.

Working Hours and Benefits

Employment Type: Seasonal employment.
Working Hours: Varying hours, including weekends and evenings.
Salary: According to collective agreement.
Start Date: According to agreement.
