About the Company

Since the 1960s, Orsa Grönklitt has been a place where ski joy, nature, and community are at the center. Here, cross-country and alpine skiing meet in a nature-oriented ski experience with well-prepared tracks, family-friendly slopes, and year-round activities in the heart of Dalarna. We are now looking for several operations workers for our facility ahead of the upcoming season!

The recruitment covers three different areas within operations: Alpine, Operations & Facilities, and Cross-Country & Tracks. All positions are handled in the same recruitment process, and in your application, you specify which area best matches your experience and skills.

Your Responsibilities

As an operations worker with us, you help ensure daily operations, development, and quality in one of Sweden's leading ski and outdoor facilities. The work is varied, seasonal, and takes place largely outdoors, often in close collaboration between different parts of the business. All positions involve shift work including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and guest experience.

Operations Worker – Alpine (Working Foreman)

This area is suitable for you who have experience with alpine operations and want to combine practical work with responsibility for planning and team leadership. You are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of lift facilities and work closely with the operations manager in daily activities. The role includes work on lifts, slopes, snowmaking, and alpine areas, as well as participation in maintenance and investment projects. You lead and support staff in daily work and contribute to safe and efficient operations.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with lift operations and snowmaking
• Holds SLAO's operator certificate for slope or track grooming machines
• Has good technical understanding and machine proficiency
• Thrives in a leading and operational role

Qualifications such as leadership experience, lift technician training, and knowledge of the ATASS system are meritorious.

Operations Worker – Operations & Facilities

This area is suitable for you who want to work broadly with operations, service, and maintenance within ski and outdoor facilities. You work with daily operation and maintenance of lifts, slope equipment, and snow systems, and participate in repair, maintenance, and investment projects. The role also includes building and facility-related tasks where you contribute to safety, order, and a well-functioning operational environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with operations work in ski or outdoor facilities
• Holds SLAO's operator certificate for slope or track grooming machines
• Has a valid B-class driver's license
• Is technically interested and has good machine proficiency

Qualifications such as lift technician training and knowledge of the ATASS system are meritorious.

Operations Worker – Cross-Country & Tracks

This area is suitable for you who have a strong interest in cross-country skiing, track quality, and working in forests and terrain. You work with grooming and preparation of cross-country tracks, as well as operation and maintenance of track systems and machines. The work also includes driving grooming machines, snowmobiles, and all-terrain vehicles, as well as clearing and forestry work. If needed, you also participate in snowmaking and other operational tasks within the facility.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a valid B-class driver's license
• Has experience with machine work
• Enjoys independent outdoor work
• Has a strong interest in cross-country skiing and track quality

Qualifications such as operator certificates for grooming machines, snowmobiles, or all-terrain vehicles, as well as chainsaw license A+B, are meritorious.
