Husbygårdsskolan is a well-functioning comprehensive school (grades F-9) in northern Järva, close to Kista Center. The school also has a central special education group.

The school consists of two school buildings in Husby Center, within walking distance of each other and Husby Metro Station. Here, many different cultures come together to learn from and with each other. We are a school that consciously works to strengthen student results through teaching based on cognitive science principles. Job Description

Together with a team of competent and driven colleagues, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), English, and Swedish for grades 4-6.

We work with a three-teacher model in grades 4-6 for each grade level. We parallel-teach some of the lessons in mathematics and Swedish. The purpose is to strengthen collaborative planning among colleagues regarding student instruction. The position includes, in addition to teaching, mentorship, as well as handling the documentation and contacts with other authorities that the role entails. An important part of the work is collaboration with colleagues, as well as creating and maintaining good contact and cooperation with guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teacher's degree and subject competence in mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), English, and Swedish. Two positions are vacancies for the entire academic year 2026/2027. One vacancy is from August 2026 to February 26, 2027.

You must have clear leadership in the classroom, understand why study discipline is important, and construct your teaching based on cognitive science principles. You create clarity in your teaching with a focus on structure.
