Knightec Group develops the next generation of connected vehicles and intelligent infotainment systems together with our customers. We create future-proof software solutions, ranging from platform-near development in Android Automotive to advanced applications and integrated system solutions.
We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in Android or embedded development. Here, you will work on projects ranging from platform development close to hardware to modern Automotive solutions with a focus on user experience and connectivity.
Responsibilities
You will become part of the Software & Cloud business area, where we in Gothenburg are about 170 competent and engaged colleagues. We work with a wide range of assignments, from system-near development within Android Automotive to application development and integration in complex vehicle environments.
You will work on projects that suit your experience and interests, either in our in-house teams or out at the customer site. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of tomorrow's software-defined vehicles and products.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Design and development of system and application software within Android Automotive in C++ and Kotlin
- Integration between the Android platform and underlying systems as well as the vehicle's functions
- Participation in requirements work, architecture, testing, and quality assurance
- Collaboration in cross-functional teams within software, systems, and automotive engineering
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in software development and who want to continue developing, both technically and together with others. You like to work broadly, are curious, and team-oriented.
In addition to your personal qualities, we want you to have:
- At least 3 years of experience in software development in C++ and/or Kotlin
- At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with Android Automotive OS or AOSP
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
Meritorious:
- Experience working in HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer)
- Embedded Linux
- CI/CD and modern development tools
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive standards

Practical information
This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period, located at our office in Gothenburg, Lindholmsallén 2. Travel to our customers may occur as part of the role. Start date is as soon as possible or as agreed.
