Pilträdsskolan is a private school with approximately 300 students, emphasizing knowledge, security, and the unique value of each student. The school was founded in 1994 and offers education from preschool class (F) through grade 9, as well as after-school activities. Adjacent to the school is Pilträdets Preschool for children aged 1–5. The school is managed by Stiftelsen Källan in Västerås and is located in Vallby.

We are now looking for inspiring teachers who, together with us, want to shape the future and contribute to a meaningful school experience for our students. We require a teaching degree and experience working in primary and lower secondary education. A teaching license is an advantage. We also expect you to be familiar with the national curriculum, course plans, the Swedish National Agency for Education's guidelines, and the operations of the compulsory school system. You are responsible, independent, take initiative, and have strong collaboration skills.

As a teacher here, you will collaborate, plan, and evaluate teaching in consultation with colleagues and students. You are skilled in and interested in continuously developing leadership and motivation strategies, as well as making additional adaptations in your teaching. We actively work with motivating and value-creating teaching methods. The role also includes mentorship and contact with guardians. You are proficient with computers. You have a genuine interest in working with students' development and learning, see opportunities, are flexible, dare to try new approaches, and have good experience in teamwork.
