The Dietitian and Speech Therapy department operates at the hospitals in Avesta, Ludvika, Falun, and Mora, as well as Dietitian services in primary care. We are a team of approximately 50 people. The Speech Therapy department consists of two units: outpatient speech therapy and neuro/voice speech therapy. We collaborate with the speech therapy program in Uppsala and regularly supervise speech therapy students.

We are currently looking for a speech therapist in Ludvika. The focus of this position is neurospeech therapy (both outpatient and inpatient care) and pediatric speech therapy, although other diagnostic areas may become relevant. The work involves great variation. You will work independently, but we place great emphasis on collaboration with speech therapy colleagues and other departments. We work across the county, holding regular meetings within each diagnostic group for discussions and development work. You will become part of a competent work group where collegial support is central and contributes to our good working climate. The daily patient work consists of assessment, treatment, and counseling for patients, relatives, and other professional categories. We also conduct group activities within several diagnostic areas.

For newly graduated candidates, we offer regular supervision by an experienced colleague as well as dedicated time for introduction and shadowing. All new employees are offered an introduction by an experienced colleague.

Requirements:
