We are now looking for a Purchasing Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the company's purchasing, supplier contacts, and material flows. The role offers great opportunities to influence and develop purchasing operations in a business with short decision-making paths and close collaboration between different functions. What we offer you

In the role of Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Strategic and operational purchasing of marine valves, components, and technical products
• Supplier contacts and supplier development both nationally and internationally
• Negotiation of prices, contracts, and delivery terms
• Order placement and delivery monitoring
• Ensuring high delivery precision and material availability
• Handling transport bookings and logistics planning
• Inventory monitoring and optimization of stock levels
• Handling claims and quality deviations with suppliers
• Collaboration with sales, warehouse, and finance regarding planning and forecasts
• Working on cost optimization and improvement initiatives
• Handling import/export-related administration and material certificates
• Administration in business systems and updating supplier and article registers

You will work closely with both your colleagues and the CEO, implying close collaboration and an important role in the company's continued development and delivery security. The position is located at our office in Kövlinge, between Vallberga and Laholm.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is structured, business-minded, and solution-oriented. You have a few years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain, preferably from a technical or industrial company. Experience from the marine sector, technical trade, or manufacturing industry is advantageous. You are accustomed to working independently and handling multiple tasks in parallel at a high pace. Experience working in Visma business systems is advantageous. We value very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English. Good knowledge of Excel and experience in analysis and follow-up are also important for the role. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a smaller company where flexibility, responsibility, and collaboration are important parts of everyday life.
