Do you want to help test future software solutions at the intersection of QA and new business opportunities? We are currently looking for a Junior Software Tester for our client, where you will work with software testing ranging from test automation to systems for access control with camera and audio/video functions. ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Junior Software Tester, you will work with testing access control systems, i.e., passage systems connected to cameras and audio/video, ensuring everything works correctly when someone passes through. You will become part of a team where half works in Scrum and the other half in a dedicated in-house test team that is very people-oriented. This role suits you if you have an interest in AI, want to work with software testing, and enjoy testing in Python, C, or cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform software tests, preferably using Python, C, and in cloud environments.
• Contribute ideas and solutions using AI.
• Participate in a people-oriented team focused on quality and collaboration.
• Develop a customer mindset and understanding of how users experience the systems.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF:

• You are about to complete an engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in June/August 2026 in a relevant field.
• You have basic programming or scripting skills (Python, C, Bash, TypeScript).
• You speak and write fluent English and Swedish, as both languages are used in daily work.

It is not required, but an advantage if you have:

• Experience from relevant hobby projects or work experience in the field.

This is a consulting assignment, meaning you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and our side is that you will become a direct employee of the client after x months.
