As a Service Technician, you will be part of the team at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency's central warehouse. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to society's preparedness for crises and war, both nationally and internationally.
Your responsibilities and tasks
As a Service Technician, you will work with various tasks within the warehouse, such as equipment maintenance, loading and unloading of goods, kit assembly, and more. The role includes providing support in the selection and handling of equipment to end-users and project managers. Assisting with goods receipt may also become part of the role.
Your daily routine will consist of everything from picking and packing equipment for transport, performing quality control on delivered equipment, to assisting in the development of new material solutions and maintenance plans. The role also involves administrative handling in various systems related to warehouse management, and it is important that you are interested in such tasks.
Your knowledge and competencies
We are looking for you who have:
- at least upper secondary education.
- experience working in warehousing and warehouse management.
- experience working with goods and goods receipt.
- interest in administrative aspects of work within warehousing, warehouse management, and goods handling.
- experience in goods receipt.
- experience in order processing.
- experience working in a government agency.
- good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Category B driver's license.
- Forklift license.
The following are meritorious:
- post-secondary education.
- experience in project work.
- experience working in a larger organization with different functions and departments.
- language skills in addition to Swedish and English.

About the employment
We offer you a permanent full-time position, starting with a probationary period.
Your place of work will be in Kristinehamn, and travel as part of the employment will occur.
The majority of our positions involve security clearance. Swedish citizenship is usually required. In the event of security clearance, a security investigation with register check will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Most employees at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency are war-placed.
About us
The Central Warehouse Section consists of about twenty employees and is part of the Logistics Unit within the Operational Planning and Handling Department. The section's task is warehousing and replenishment, keeping equipment ready, and delivering it to operations, exercises, and training. Our warehouse facilities are primarily located in Kristinehamn.
