Job Responsibilities
The role is one of three new key positions that strengthen the IT/OT organization at the heating plant, where you, together with both new and existing colleagues, will help build, influence, and shape a completely new service.
As a Portfolio Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the portfolio object long-term supports the business's requirements for functionality, quality, efficiency, and information security. The role is both strategic and operational, involving leading, planning, and monitoring portfolio management, development, and improvements according to a defined portfolio and project model.
The responsibilities include among other things:
- Ensuring that business needs are translated into portfolio plans, priorities, and changes
- The systems included in the portfolio object are systems that support operation, monitoring, and maintenance within the combined heat and power plant
- Leading and monitoring development, upgrade, and lifecycle plans
- Prioritizing and planning improvement initiatives within the approved budget and mandate
- Initiating and leading change work within the portfolio object
- Leading and monitoring projects related to development and improvements
- Responsible for planning and monitoring time, budget, resources, security requirements, and risks
- Ensuring documentation and participating in the handling of incidents and deviations as needed
- Coordinating internal and external resources and monitoring suppliers
Education Requirements
Post-secondary education in business development, IT, technology, economics, or a corresponding field. Relevant and multi-year experience in portfolio management and project management can substitute for formal education.
Valid driver's license (Category B)
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
- Experience in portfolio management and business development
- Experience in project management or similar coordinating roles
- Good understanding of business processes and operations
- Ability to collaborate with multiple roles and stakeholders
Meritorious Qualifications
- Experience with IT, OT, or automation-related portfolio management
- Experience in requirements specification, change management, or supplier management
Experience working according to established portfolio or project models

Other Requirements
Working within Bodens Energi means working with socially vital operations, and therefore, a candidate control is conducted for many of the positions in our operations before employment. For positions that lead to participation in security-sensitive operations or placement in security clearance, this control involves a security check in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
