NU Healthcare is part of the Region of Västra Götaland and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. About the Department

At our clinic, you will be offered an exciting and challenging assignment. You will be part of our workgroup of 13 people. The workgroup consists of doctors, medical secretaries, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers. We have close cooperation with two other psychiatric clinics located in the same building.

Our ambition is to offer and create conditions for stimulating and developing work at our clinic, with well-established colleagues and a good working community with different orientations under the same roof. The psychiatric outpatient clinic is seen as the base of the specialist psychiatric activity, where the goal is, as far as possible, to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's immediate environment.

The target group is primarily people who need investigation and treatment for neuropsychiatric diagnoses within the responsibility of specialist psychiatry, as well as people being treated for opioid dependence through LARO (opioid agonist treatment).

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, your duties will include nursing and treatment work in the form of medication follow-up, assessment interviews, telephone advice, collaboration with other healthcare providers, SIP (Swedish Interagency Public Health Program), 1177, SAMSA (Social Services and Healthcare Collaboration), healthcare documentation, and other common tasks at the clinic.

Qualifications

Registered nurse with experience. Specialist education and experience from psychiatric activity are meritorious.

The work requires that you have personal maturity, are used to and enjoy working independently and making quick decisions. You should be stress-resistant and able to handle a high work pace. We assume that you are structured, clear, orderly, and flexible, and that you have a desire and interest in working and being part of a team.

We place great importance on personal suitability and value qualities such as flexibility and good social competence, where humor, forward-thinking, and positive thinking are clear merits.

Other

The position is permanent. Interviews will be held continuously during the application period.

When appointing staff within psychiatry, we always require extracts from the suspicion and criminal record registers. This request is handled by the employer.
