You will

• work with software development in administration and new development projects
• work with the following technologies and tools: C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET, .NET Web API/WCF, MVC, Blazor, Angular, JavaScript, MS SQL, as well as unit testing and automated tests.

You must have

• current academic degree in IT or a current IT degree from a university college of vocational education
• good knowledge of C# and .NET, acquired through studies, projects, or internship
• knowledge of databases, such as MS SQL
• documented knowledge or practical experience of agile working methods and teamwork
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you also have

• internship or LIA (Learning in Work) with a clear focus on programming
• good grades in programming courses that show a good understanding of fundamental development principles
• current thesis project with a technical focus.

More information

The employment is permanent with placement in Örebro. Appointment according to agreement and we normally apply a probationary period. The role implies that you need to be present at the office regularly during the week to the extent the operations require, and that you can quickly get to the office when needed when working remotely. As an employee here, there is an opportunity to work remotely to some extent; it is the operational needs and the nature of the tasks that determine if and to what extent this is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our security-classed tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.

Short about the IT Department

The IT Department consists of five units with associated sections. We are approximately 300 employees.

We support all departments within the Swedish Transport Administration both strategically and operationally in IT matters. We work with architecture, software development, administration and operation of IT systems, as well as infrastructure.
