We are now looking for an engineer with a focus on systems and machinery, a role that combines technical responsibility and sometimes project management – where you will become a key person in developing energy-efficient, sustainable, and safe ship solutions for our customers.

Your role

As a systems and machinery engineer, you will work on both newbuilding and conversion projects. The role involves technical responsibility and sometimes project management. You will:

• work with the development, dimensioning, and integration of machinery and auxiliary systems on board
• contribute technical solutions for energy optimization, alternative fuels, and environmental requirements
• occasionally lead and coordinate projects, including planning, follow-up, and communication with customers, shipyards, and suppliers
• collaborate closely with colleagues in various disciplines to ensure holistic solutions

Your profile

We are looking for you who are a university engineer or equivalent with a focus on mechanical or marine engineering. We would like you to have:

• experience in ship design, shipyard work, or a similar technical environment
• knowledge of marine systems and their design and dimensioning
• experience with machinery systems, energy optimization, or propulsion solutions
• proficiency in 2D/3D-CAD and preferably experience with software used in marine design
• experience in writing technical specifications and working in a project-based manner
• good command of English, both written and spoken
