Approximately 300 students attend Själevadskolan F-6 today. Själevad is beautifully located by the Moälven river, approximately 6 km from central Örnsköldsvik.

We are now looking for a primary school teacher for the middle school level (grades 4-6). Are you the one we are looking for?

The position is a fixed-term employment for the period from August 12, 2026, to December 22, 2026.

Responsibilities

You may teach grades 4 to 6 and have overall responsibility for the subjects you are qualified to teach among these student groups. This involves managing the documentation, planning, and teaching required. The assignment includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching together with a work team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teacher's degree and qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in subjects such as Social Studies (SO), Natural Sciences (No), Technology, Swedish, or other subject combinations deemed suitable by the employer.

We seek someone who enjoys challenges and thinking outside the box, and who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a secure adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a good atmosphere in the student group and work team is second nature to you.

We would appreciate if you have the ability to create structure and adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and individuals. You are receptive, take responsibility, are engaged, and creative.
