Your role

As a nurse in a nursing home, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on health and medical care interventions based on each patient's individual needs and situation.

You work closely with patients, relatives, nursing staff, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and regional doctors, as well as other key actors within both the municipality and the region, to create the best possible conditions for safe and high-quality care.

You plan and structure your work together with your colleagues; no two days are alike. Your duties also include mentoring and educating nursing staff in health and medical care interventions.

Your new workplace

In nursing homes, care and support are provided around the clock based on the residents' individual needs. At the nursing home, you work closely with patients and the team in daily life. Here, you have the opportunity to follow patients over time, work preventively, and contribute to security, continuity, and good quality of life.

The work is based on a health-promoting and rehabilitative approach with a focus on participation, coordination, and clear division of responsibility.

We value sustainable working hours and actively work to create healthy schedules adapted to the needs of the operation. As a nurse, you work during the day with sparse weekend duties (every 6th weekend).

With us, you work independently – but never alone.

About you

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Experience and/or further education in district nursing, elderly care, or psychiatry is meritorious. You have good experience working in digital systems and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A B-driving license is required for the position.

You thrive with independent work while valuing collaboration and having the ability to coordinate and hold care interventions together. You work with a professional and positive attitude towards both patients and colleagues. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Pets and smokers may be present at the workplace. Heavy lifting occurs, and transfer aids must be used.
