As a Traffic Inspector at the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), you help make daily life easier for residents and businesses throughout Sweden. You do this by contributing to the important work of traffic safety.

The role of Traffic Inspector is both challenging and important. The foundation of your work is to independently plan and conduct driving tests to determine whether the applicant possesses the knowledge and skills required to pass. You provide clear information to the applicant and communicate your decision verbally after each completed test. In doing so, you exercise official authority. You will conduct tests for various license categories and will be part of our team of Traffic Inspectors. As a Traffic Inspector, you interact with many different customers every day, and professional customer service is crucial for providing the applicant with the best possible conditions during the test.

Work at several reception locations may occur.

Who are you?

You have good judgment, personal maturity, and a calm and confident demeanor. You can quickly analyze situations and feel comfortable making independent decisions under time pressure. You have the ability to give oral information in a respectful and clear manner. Additionally, you have strong analytical problem-solving skills.

We are looking for someone who has

• completed the Traffic Inspector training (you must attach your certificate of completion to your application)
• conducted driving tests for one or more of the license categories B, A, BE/96
• good traffic and driving experience within road traffic
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• good knowledge of English in speech
