Do you have a strong sense of responsibility, enjoy driving, and want to drive a brand-new rig for JJ:s Åkeri? JJ:s Åkeri continues to expand and is now looking for a Driver with CE license for the summer period, with good opportunities for permanent employment thereafter. The position is based in Kalmar, but the work follows a rolling schedule where you are out for three days followed by three days of leave at home. This implies a lifestyle where you are on the road for periods of time, so it is important that you thrive with such a setup.

JJ:s Åkeri is an established transport and logistics company with strong roots in the Kalmar region. Since our inception, we have specialized in transporting eggs, chickens, and poultry, but we also perform other types of transport.

• Prepare and drive truck transports with a focus on safety and quality.
• Loading and unloading of eggs in close cooperation with the customer.
• Monitor the transport systems and ensure everything runs smoothly and safely along the way.
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers for a professional and service-oriented delivery.
• Responsible for documentation and routines related to transport and vehicle cleaning.

• CE license and valid YKB (Swedish transport permit).
• Swedish language skills in both speech and writing.
• Good driving experience with trailers and previous experience in similar tasks.
• High professional pride.
• Being out on the road is a natural part of the job, suitable for those who enjoy freedom and variety in their work.

• Experience with animal transports or other animal handling, with an understanding of animal welfare.
• Forklift or wheel loader license.
• Interest in vehicles and mechanics.
• Technical knowledge.

We are looking for someone who enjoys the combination of driving a truck and working closely with people and animals – about half of the job takes place behind the wheel and half on-site at the customer's location. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy customer interaction and nurture the company's relationships through professional conduct.
