Job Description

Do you want to work part-time alongside your studies and gain valuable experience within warehousing and logistics? We at NearYou are now looking for you who are studying at a college or university and want to become part of our staffing pool for warehouse jobs with our client, Norden Machinery AB. The position is aimed at you who are pursuing post-secondary studies and wish to combine your studies with a flexible part-time job. We welcome students from all types of college and university programs – whether you are studying warehousing and logistics, economics, law, teacher education, or any other field. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a practical and varied role where you become an important part of the daily flow in the warehouse. You will be employed as a consultant by us at NearYou and work on-site at Norden Machinery AB whenever there is a need, which suits you if you are looking for a flexible part-time job with secure employment and opportunities for professional development. In this role, you will handle several common warehouse tasks. You will receive deliveries and verify that the correct goods have arrived. The role also involves registering incoming goods in the system, picking items based on orders, packing, and preparing deliveries for customers. The work also includes outbound deliveries and forklift operation, where you move pallets and goods in a safe and efficient manner. You will also participate in inventory counts of stock levels and ensure that goods are replenished to the correct storage locations. Furthermore, sorting and labeling of products, labels, and packages are a natural part of the daily work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are studying at a college or university and hold a forklift license, which is a requirement for this position, and who thrive in a social work environment where collaboration and service are a natural part of everyday life. You are responsible and have a positive attitude towards both tasks and colleagues. If you also have a proactive approach, jumping in where needed, and enjoy work with varying rhythms, we believe you will fit well in this role.
