Widéns Åkeri is growing and is now looking for an engaged, solution-oriented, and driven Traffic Controller for our operations in Kalmar. Here, you will have a key role where you are responsible for daily planning and lead our drivers in operational work.

About the role

As a Traffic Controller, you are the hub between customers, drivers, and transport assignments. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing daily operations while ensuring high service levels, good profitability, and efficient transports.

Your responsibilities

You will work with daily planning and optimization of transports, where you lead, support, and follow up on the drivers' work. You also have contact with our customers, coordinate transport assignments for them, and follow up on deliveries.

You will also work with exception handling, which requires you to be solution-oriented and eager to find solutions that benefit both us and the customer. Furthermore, you ensure that laws, regulations, and company routines are followed. Please note that some on-call duty is included in the position.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience from the transport, logistics, or trucking industry
• Is structured and has good planning skills
• Can make decisions even when the pace is high
• Has good communication skills and thrives in a leading role
• Is computer literate
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in traffic control is an advantage, but we value the right attitude, sense of responsibility, and ability to build good relationships above all.
